Erick Ensures That The Priority Of SOEs Is In Line With President Prabowo's Visions
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said his ministry would ensure that the priority of SOEs is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's vision and mission and state interests.
Based on the mandate of Law Number 1 of 2025, Erick said, the Ministry of SOEs is transforming to carry out a number of strategic roles as regulators to formulate regulations that are oriented towards the contribution of SOEs and the national economy.
In addition, Erick explained that his ministry also acts as a supervisor. Where the supervision includes portfolio risk monitoring, regulatory-based compliance audits.
"We as series A and Perum shareholders ensure the complete strategy between the BUMN portfolio managed by Danantara for President Prabowo Subianto's strategic program," he said in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, Jakarta, quoted Friday, September 5.
Erick said the Ministry of SOEs is also expected to be a catalyst for regulations related to SOEs with all ministries, institutions, and the government.
"Then become a catalyst and an integrator for regulations related to SOEs and all government ministries/agencies," he said.

In addition, Erick conveyed that the Ministry of SOEs obtained a 2026 budget ceiling of IDR 280 billion. The funds will be divided into various functions according to the main tasks and functions (tupoksi).
"We can see, for this year we get Rp280 billion, where we will divide it according to the previous pre-arranged main tasks, namely as regulators, supervisors, series A shareholders, and others," he said.
Erick said the budget of the Ministry of SOEs in 2026 will be allocated for administration or operations amounting to Rp129.2 billion or 46 percent. Then the function of the Ministry of SOEs is Rp38.1 billion or 14 percent.
In addition, the budget will also be used by the Ministry of SOEs for the supervisory function of Rp32.8 billion or 11.7 percent.
Furthermore, Erick said, the budget will also be used to monitor the risk of portfolios, audit regulatory-based compliance, and ensure that SOE priorities are in line with the President's vision and mission of the country.
"For the supervisory function, we actually expect it to be even higher," he explained.
Then, it will also be used to carry out the function of the Ministry of SOEs as a series A shareholder and Perum Rp2.4 billion or 1 percent, as well as spending on employees of the Ministry of SOEs of Rp. 98.7 billion.
"If we look at the last four years, we managed to absorb an average of 96 percent," said Erick.
