Will Work On 33 Projects, Danantara Focuses On Waste Into Energy

JAKARTA - The Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) will work on 33 strategic projects.

Danantara has also launched bonds or debt securities as a project investment platform that will be carried out.

CEO of Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani revealed that of the 33 projects to be worked on, one of them is waste processing into energy or waste to energy.

According to Rosan, regulations in the form of Government Regulations (PP) have been completed, so that the tender process is immediately implemented.

"Those 33 are waste to energy, right. Now we are, the PP has been completed, it will soon be carried out for the tender process," said Rosan at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

Rosan said there are several areas that are ready to carry out the waste to energy project. Among them, Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, then Semarang, Surabaya, and Makassar.

Furthermore, Rosan also ensured that the tender for this project would be carried out openly and transparently.

"And other priority areas that can already run we will conduct tender processes openly and transparently," he said.

Previously, Danantara Indonesia's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rosan Roeslani met with Finance Minister Sri Mulyani. During the meeting, one of the topics discussed related to the financing strategy through the Danantara bond issuance option.

The meeting between the two was revealed through a photo uploaded by Sri Mulyani on her Instagram social media account @smindrawati, quoted Thursday, July 31.

Sri Mulyani said that during the meeting, concrete steps were discussed in encouraging the realization of public investment, including financing strategies through the option of issuing Danantara bonds.

"The discussion is focused on the plan of 33 strategic projects, with 5 priority projects located in several cities," wrote Sri Mulyani.

In this meeting, continued Sri Mulyani, it was agreed to work on a strategic project chosen based on the readiness and potential for high socio-economic benefits.

"So that every rupiah of investment can provide added value for regional and national development," wrote Sri Mulyani.

Selain itu, sambung Sri Mulyani, pihaknya bersama dengan Danantara Indonesia juga menyoroti pentingnya menjaga kesinambungan operasional proyek di daerah.

“Komunikasi yang transparan kepada pasar, publik, dan antarlembaga menjadi kunci untuk memperkuat koordinasi,” katanya.

Pertemuan ini, lanjut Sri Mulyani, mencerminkan komitmen bersama antara Kementerian Keuangan dan Danantara untuk menyusun rencana investasi yang lebih terarah, terukur, dan terkoordinasi.

“Harapannya, proyek-proyek ini tidak hanya menggerakkan perekonomian, tetapi juga membawa dampak nyata bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
