The Budget For The Construction Of Houses Of The DPR And The Supreme Court At IKN Reaches IDR 4.42 Trillion, Starting To Be Built In 2026

The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) has started building houses for members of the legislative and judicial institutions (DPR RI) in 2026.

IKN Bimo Authority Secretary Adi Nursanthyasto said the landed house and flat (rusun) project cost Rp4.42 trillion.

"The construction of housing supporting the judiciary and legislative ecosystem will only start in 2026 with a multi-year contract (MYC) contract scheme, requiring a budget of IDR 4.42 trillion," said Bimo in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

The budget is included in the additional budget that has been submitted by the Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, to the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani and the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy with a total value of Rp. 14.92 trillion.

In addition, the IKN Authority has started to build legislative buildings, namely the House of Representatives (DPR) office and the judiciary building at IKN this year.

The construction of the two institutions cost Rp4.73 trillion.

"The first group to continue the construction work package for buildings and access in the judiciary and legislative areas with the multi-year contract scheme which has begun in 2025 and will end in 2027 or early 2028," he said.

Then, requests for additional budgets are also made for the construction of infrastructure supporting accessibility and utilities for judiciary and legislative areas which will begin in 2026.

"The construction of infrastructure supporting accessibility and utilities for judiciary and legislative areas which will also begin in 2026 with a multi-year contract scheme of IDR 5.17 trillion," he said.

The additional budget application was made because the development needs at IKN which had been tendered with the MYC scheme reached IDR 20 trillion.

Meanwhile, the budget allocation for the IKN Authority in 2025 is IDR 6.2 trillion. Then, OIKN received an Additional Expenditure Budget (ABT) of IDR 3.6 trillion for three years until 2027.

"There is still a gap of Rp. 14.92 trillion. The Gap has been followed up with a letter from the Head of the IKN Authority addressed to the Minister of Finance and also the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas on August 14, 2025," said Bimo.
