Menbud Fadli Zon Hands Over Paramarta Culture Award At BCL To Joey Alexander

DENPASAR Minister of Culture Fadli Zon handed over Paramarta Culture Award to three musicians who performed on the first night of CHANDI 2025 at the Bali Beach Convention Hall by The Meru Sanur. They are Michael Anthony Kwok, Bunga Citra Lestari, and Joey Alexander.

This award was given on the sidelines of CHANDI Music Performance, Wednesday, September 3 night. This event also marks the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Apart from being a form of appreciation, this award is also a symbol of Indonesian cultural diplomacy in the eyes of the world. Music has proven to be able to penetrate domestic boundaries, connect local traditions with global audiences, and present a creative and open image of Indonesia.

Menbud Fadli Zon emphasized that the Paramarta award reflects cultural values relevant to the spirit of CHANDI 2025: togetherness, innovation, and sustainability.

Music is living diplomacy. He emphasized Indonesia's position as the center of innovation and cultural dialogue," said the Minister of Culture in an official statement, September 4.

That night, the music stage was not just entertainment. It became a space for cultural dialogue without barriers, bringing together traditions and innovations in one harmonious manner. This cross-generation collaboration confirms that Indonesia is present in the world not only through politics and the economy, but also through unifying arts.
