Police Name 60 Suspects In The North Jakarta Police Headquarters Attack

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit has named as many as 60 suspects in the case of the attack on the North Jakarta Police Headquarters. The determination of the 60 suspects was carried out on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

"60 people have been named as suspects in the attack on the Resort Police. They are from North Jakarta residents and outsiders as well," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar to reporters.

From the results of the examination, dozens of suspects who attacked recklessly carried out their actions based on invitations on social media.

"They know from social media chipsers. They come in groups and various other groups," he said.

Meanwhile, 60 suspects detained at the North Jakarta Metro Police are the perpetrators of the Mako attack. Among them, no one has been proven to have participated in the attack at Ahmad Sahroni's house.

"As a result of the report, there is no evidence that those who looted or the same perpetrators as what happened at Ahmad Sahroni's house," he said.

Until now, Kasat is still investigating 60 suspects who were detained for the attack on the North Jakarta Police. The police are also still investigating the network of the perpetrators.

"It is not yet known that the suspect is affiliated with by certain groups, it is still being investigated," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the North Jakarta Metro Police arrested 70 people who were seen in the attack at their office on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The attack was carried out on Saturday, August 30 until last Sunday, August 31, 2025.

"Most of those arrested are teenagers," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Erick Frendriz.
