From Guangzhou To Indonesia, GAC Presents Innovations Through AION And Hyptec HT

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturers from China continue to grow rapidly, including Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC Group). Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Guangzhou, China, the manufacturer has grown into one of the leading automotive manufacturers.

Quoting from the company's official website, Thursday, September 4, GAC is now known as one of the largest electric vehicle manufacturers in the world, thanks to innovations in battery technology, fast charging systems, and smart mobility solutions presented to a row of environmentally friendly cars.

Including the AION brand which is a subsidiary of the GAC Group which was founded in 2017, specifically produces pure electric vehicles. A number of popular models have been presented in China to the global market.

Through AION, GAC also introduced the SSR's Hyper supercar (Super, Sport and Race) in 2022, marking the acceleration of innovation as well as introducing the new arrow' logo for Hyper as a symbol of accelerating smart electric vehicles.

The name AION itself is a combination of 'AI' (Artificial Intelligence) - ON the Road, which reflects artificial intelligence for easier, safer, and emotional driving experiences. This smart technology is the identity of GAC AION's electric vehicle around the world.

Meanwhile, the name Hyptec was born from the 'Hyper' transformation in 2024 as a premium electric car brand specifically for the right steering market. With luxury designs, cutting-edge technology, and high performance, Hyptec comes for consumers who prioritize comfort and exclusivity.

Meanwhile, for the Indonesian automotive market, all AION and Hyptec products are marketed through GAC Indonesia in collaboration with the Indomobil Group as strategic partners.

Through this collaboration, emphasized GAC's commitment to presenting global quality electric cars that match the needs of the Indonesian people, as well as strengthening its position as an important player in accelerating the electric vehicle ecosystem in the country.

In showing his seriousness in supporting the acceleration of AION and Hyptec electric vehicles in Indonesia, GAC together with Indomobil Group held an assembly of their units at the Cikampek factory under the auspices of PT National Assemblers.

As is known, currently GAC in Indonesia is marketing AION lineups including AION Y Plus Exclusive, AION Y Plus Premium, AION V Exclusive, AION V Luxury, AION UT Standard, AION UT Premium and Hyptec HT Premium.
