Not Just Work, This Office Area Is A Favorite Location For Cheating
JAKARTA - Infidelity in the office is not just a material for gossip. An international survey recently revealed a surprising fact, namely that the office is often an arena for illicit relations.
This survey was conducted by Ann Summers, retailer lingerie and erotic products from England. As a result, the company's year-end party became the most vulnerable moment.
Reporting from the Glamour page, as many as 39% of respondents claimed to have had sex with colleagues at office events, while another 54% admitted that they had at least kissed colleagues.
The thing that makes a scene is that almost half of the adults in England are married or have a partner. This means that quite a number of office infidelity cases occur secretly, without the knowledge of the couple.

The survey also revealed favorite places that are often used to have an affair. The parking area and the office garage are in first place. Followed by the meeting room which is usually used to discuss business strategies, but it turns out that it is also often the location of secret meetings.
It doesn't stop there, document storage spaces to office toilets are also on the list. A total of 16% of respondents admitted that they had done it in the boss's office, the location that was clearly the most risky because if caught, it could directly affect their career.
This phenomenon is not just a matter of parties or empty rooms. A work environment full of pressure, long working hours, and the intensity of togetherness with colleagues can trigger emotional closeness which leads to unprofessionalism.
Year-end parties full of alcoholic beverages also often make boundaries between employment and personal matters run away. The tradition of company parties and tiring working hours has become part of a global work culture.
