Foreigners Riot At The Kalibata Hotel Deported To Syria

JAKARTA - The Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Division (Inteljakim) of the Class I Special Immigration Office for Non-TPI South Jakarta has deported a foreign national (WNA) with the initials BMA who caused trouble at a hotel in Kalibata in August 2025, then.

"On Wednesday (September 3) night, BMA was officially deported from Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport for Syria," said Head of the Class I Immigration Office Special for Non-TPI South Jakarta, Bugie Kurniawan in Jakarta, Thursday.

Based on the results of the examination, the foreigner has been subject to Immigration Administrative Action (TAK) in accordance with Article 75 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration in the form of deportation and deterrence.

Bugie emphasized that this step is a form of Immigration's commitment to maintaining public order and enforcing immigration laws in Indonesian territory.

"We carry out our duties firmly, professionally, and legally based. This deportation is a rule enforcement step in order to maintain public order and national security," he said.

The South Jakarta Immigration Office promised to always act quickly, humanely and synergize with related officials in handling every immigration violation.

Bugie said that this step was also in line with the direction of the Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto who emphasized the importance of synergy, professionalism and integrity in every implementation of immigration tasks.
