Komang Ayu Withdraws From Pelatnas PBSI

JAKARTA Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi decided to withdraw from the National Training Center (Pelatnas) of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) Cipayung.

PBSI confirmed this information through an official statement submitted to the media on Thursday, September 4, 2025, afternoon WIB.

"Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi has withdrawn from the PBSI National Training Center," reads the statement from the national badminton parent.

The badminton player who was born in Buleleng Regency 22 years ago will continue his career as an independent or professional player.

"PBSI would like to thank Komang for his dedication while at the National Training Center and wish him all the best for the next trip," continued PBSI.

Komang played a total of nine tournaments in this year's calendar. He last appeared at the Macau Open 2025 which took place last July.

At that time, his journey ran aground in the first half. He lifted the suitcase early after acknowledging China's single advantage, Han Qian Xi.

Komang's best journey was to become runner-up at the 2025 Thailand Masters Super 300 in January. He at that time lost to the host's women's singles, Pornpawee Chochuwong, in the final.
