The Ministry Of Public Works Proposes Additional Budget Of IDR 2.6 Trillion For The Settlement Of People's Schools
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) proposes an additional effective Ceiling for the 2025 fiscal year (TA) of IDR 2.6 trillion.
PU Minister Dody Hanggodo revealed, with this addition, the total Dipa FY 2025 ceiling of the Ministry of Public Works was IDR 86.6 trillion.
"Initially, according to the DPR's working meeting on July 9, 2025 yesterday, the total Dipa ceiling was Rp. 83.96 trillion, but this afternoon we proposed an additional effective ceiling of Rp. 2.6 trillion. So, our total Dipa ceiling is Rp. 86.60 trillion," said Dody at a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

Dody detailed that the additional budget proposal will be used for the completion of the 1C phase of public schools (SR), which supports around 63 renovations in 63 locations in the country amounting to Rp400 billion.
Then, worth IDR 2.2 trillion will be allocated for the continuation of the multi-year contract (MYC).
In addition, Dody also proposed to open a blocking of funds amounting to Rp19.69 trillion to the DPR.
The budget will be used for the construction of Phase II SR which is projected to require funds of Rp. 6.6 trillion for 100 locations, the presidential instruction (Inpres) to rehabilitate phase III irrigation of Rp. 3 trillion to support the implementation of the duties and functions of the Ministry of Public Works for new ASN salaries of Rp. 38 billion.
"We are targeting the opening of this blocking, God willing, it will be completed in September 2025," he said.
Previously, Commission V of the DPR RI authorized the addition of the effective ceiling of the Ministry of Public Works to Rp73.76 trillion for 2025.
The PU Ministry's budget ceiling for 2025 was affected by efficiency from Rp110.95 trillion to Rp29.57 trillion.
The efficiency then experienced reconstruction, bringing the Ministry of Public Works budget to IDR 50.48 trillion as of February 13, 2025.
Then, there is an additional budget of around Rp. 23 trillion from the figure that has been ratified by the DPR. The PU Ministry's budget is also Rp. 73.76 trillion as of March 2025.
"Now we first ratify the budget of the Ministry of Public Works from the original Rp50,483,166,613 to Rp73,758,287,212 or get an additional Rp23,275,170,599," said Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus in a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 7.
Lasarus advised that the additional budget should be mainly used to carry out road preservation or repair throughout Indonesia.
"Of course we hope that the Minister we carry out this preservation will be evenly distributed, sir. All regions, all islands from Sabang to Merauke, from Talaut to Rote Island," he said.
