ISSS 2025 Becomes Synergy For The Future Of Indonesian Sports
JAKARTA The Indonesian Fighting Sports Cooperative (KOJI) will hold the 2025 Indonesia Sports Synergy Summit (ISSS). This is a synergy for the future of Indonesian sports.
Sports Synergy Summit (ISSS) 2025 is scheduled to take place on 5-7 September 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center, Gelora Bung Karno Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.
Chairman of the 2025 ISSS Organizers as well as Chairman of the Indonesian Juang Sports Cooperative (KOJI), Ahmad Saefudin, said that the 2025 ISSS is a strategic meeting room to unite the Indonesian sports ecosystem, which is currently still fragmented.
"This fragmentation creates limitations in collaboration, funding, and talent development. ISSS is here to unite regulators, federations, clubs, industry players, communities, and investors to synergize in one vision," he said.

Indonesia Sports Synergy Summit (ISSS) 2025 is here as an answer to the urgent need for cross-sector synergy in the development of the national sports ecosystem amidst the increasingly dynamic challenges of the global sports industry.
ISSS is not just an event but also a joint movement to ensure that Indonesian sports are capable of becoming sustainable economic, social and cultural resources for the community.
The KOJI secretary, Isman Ramadhan, said that the 2025 ISSS is a manifestation of the synergy spirit of the Indonesian sports ecosystem.
"Through this forum, we want to ensure that Indonesian sports are independent, professional, and able to compete in the global arena. KOJI oversees this process by emphasizing the productive collaboration of all parties," said Isman.
Globally, the market value of the sports industry is projected to reach US$599.9 billion by 2025, with a growth rate (CAGR) of 8 percent, far beyond the world GDP's growth of only 3.2 percent.
Indonesia also has the same potential as the contribution of sports to GDP in 2024 reaching IDR 39.45 trillion. This number increased by IDR 2.17 trillion from the previous year.
This figure shows that sports is not only about achievement, but can also be a source of new economic growth and improve the quality of life of the community.
However, this great potential is still not optimal. The fragmentation of the sports ecosystem, limited funding, and the lack of collaboration space are real obstacles.
In fact, the ISSS is here to become a bridge that brings together all stakeholders, which includes the central and regional governments, independent institutions, private sponsors, and the participation of the wider community, with the principle that sports funding should not be tied to just one source.
The Implementation of ISSS 2025 includes a conference on the future evaluation and projection of sports achievements in Indonesia, a synergy forum.
Then, there is also a discussion panel with regulators, federations, clubs, investors, and international experts. The last is the exhibition of sports industry exhibitions, ranging from digital technology, web3 and blockchain innovations, wearable tech, to athlete and club management.
Ahmad said that through ISSS his party invites people, sports people, and all stakeholders to make sports a common need.
"Sports are not only a matter of achievement, but also the identity, health, and welfare of the nation. ISSS is a real step towards a more inclusive and global competitive future of Indonesian sports," he said.
