Upbit Indonesia Encourages Crypto Literacy Through Web3 & Sportainment At Coinfest Asia 2025

JAKARTA - Upbit Indonesia, one of the trusted crypto asset platforms in the country, strengthens its commitment to supporting the development of the blockchain ecosystem by presenting a series of activities at Coinfest Asia 2025. This year, Upbit combines Web3 trend education, Yapping and SocialFi phenomena, as well as sportsainment through Web3 Smash Day to connect the crypto community inclusively and fun.

The series of events began with a panel session titled Yap Network, the results of Upbit Indonesia's collaboration with Coinfolks on August 19, 2025. This discussion presented a number of crypto community figures such as Gus Tut (Cryptosiast Bali), Yan Suprich (Forum Crypto Indonesia), Egy (BlockBali Community), and Bayu P (CTO ForU AI), with Natanael Aubert (Senior Product Manager ForU AI) as moderators.

More than 100 enthusiastic participants participated in a session that explored the phenomenon of tapping in the Web3 community and the development of SocialFi (Social + Finance).

The panelists highlight how yapping, which is a conversation activity on social media such as Twitter/X, Telegram, or Discord, has become an important factor in building the exposure and sustainability of crypto projects. Meanwhile, SocialFi is seen as a new model that allows social interactions to be monetized directly through tokens or NFTs, making communities not only users, but also owners of platforms they support. Both are seen as interrelated: the more crowded the tapping, the higher the value that can be created in the SocialFi ecosystem.

The Upbit participation series continued with Web3 Smash Day on August 20, 2025 at the Amare Padel Club Ulalas, Bali, which was jointly held by IDNFT and supported by padel Connect Collab concept, this event brought together 100 participants from traders, investors, to the Web3 community through the padel sport as the most natural means to strengthen relations. This sportainment atmosphere opens a new space for collaboration, presenting different dimensions from the way the Web3 community can connect.
