Fired, Kompol Cosmas: Think About It First
JAKARTA - The session of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) imposed a sanction of Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH) against Kompol Cosmas K Gae. The Commander of Battalion (Danyon) Regiment IV of the Brimob Corps (Korbrimob) of the National Police did not immediately accept the decision.
During the trial, Kompol Cosmas K Gae stated that he would first think about the court decision handed down against him.
"The chairman of the His Majesty's trial, the Chair of the Ethics Session, with this decision I will think about it first," said Kompol Cosmas in the courtroom, Wednesday, September 3.
In front of the panel of judges at the KKEP trial, Kompol Cosmas stated that he would first talk to his family to make a decision.
Kompol Cosmas is known to have the right to immediately accept or file an appeal regarding the decision of the KKEP trial.
"I will coordinate and talk to the extended family," said Kompol Cosmas.
In the verdict, Kompol Cosmas K Gae was also sentenced to administrative sanctions in the form of special placements (paths) in the special room of the Provos Bureau of the Propam Polri for six days.

"Administrative sanctions in the form of placement in a special place for 6 days from August 29 to September 3, 2025," said Trunoyudo.
In the case of Affan Kurniawan's collision to death, Kompol Cosmas was one of two members of the Brimob Polda Metro Jaya who were suspected of committing serious violations.
When the incident occurred, Kompol Kosmas was in the front passenger seat or next to the driver.
Meanwhile, one Brimob member who is also categorized as committing serious violations is Bripka Rohmat. In a series of landscaping incidents, he was driving a tactical vehicle.
