West Java Police: Strong Allegations, 5 Family Bodies In Indramayu Murder Victims
InDRAMAYU - The West Java Regional Police (West Java Police) said five bodies of their families were found buried in a grave inELGman Village, Indramayu Regency, suspected of being victims of a murder crime.
"The strong suspicion is that the victims are the result of a criminal act of murder," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Hendra Rochmawan, in a statement received in Indramayu, Antara, Wednesday, September 3.
He said the findings were confirmed after receiving an official report from the Indramayu Police, which had been handling the incident since Monday, September 1.
From the report, it was found that five victims were buried in a hole in Buncurman Village, all of which were one family.
He said that until now investigators are still working to explore cases and reveal the real facts in this case.
His party conveyed that the identities of the victims were Sachroni (76), his biological son Budi Awaludin (40), his son-in-law Euis Juwita Sari (37), and two grandchildren of the victims, namely Ratu Khairunnisa (7) and Bela (10 months).
"Currently, we are continuing to develop an investigation (regarding the case of the findings of five bodies)," he said.
Previously, the Indramayu Police secured a number of evidences in the form of a hoe, a bucket and bed linen with bloodstains. The results of the initial examination stated that the victims had died for more than two days. Then one unit of the victim's pickup car was not found, nor was the mobile phone.
The Indramayu Police Satreskrim is still conducting intensive investigations, as well as examining a number of witnesses to reveal the identity and motives of the perpetrators.
The West Java Police Inafis Team together with the Indramayu Police have also conducted a follow-up crime scene at the victim's house, on Tuesday, September 2 afternoon.
