The Ministry Of Industry Gets IDR 2.50 Trillion Allocation Next Year, Here Are The Eight Priority Programs
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) will receive a budget allocation of IDR 2.50 trillion next year.
Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said this figure fell 1.57 percent from the Ministry of Industry's budget ceiling this year worth IDR 2.54 trillion.
"Of course this fluctuation will be a challenge for us, but we will continue to strive to maintain the sustainability of industrial sector development," Agus said at a Working Meeting with Commission VII at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 3.
Agus said that the Ministry of Industry's 2026 budget ceiling received an additional IDR 564.92 billion from the existing 2026 indicative ceiling of IDR 1.94 trillion.
Based on the source, the Ministry of Industry's budget ceiling in 2026 comes from pure rupiah worth IDR 2.09 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) IDR 69.9 billion and the Public Service Agency (BLU) of IDR 342.4 billion.
"In terms of function, next year's budget of the Ministry of Industry will be allocated into two major categories, namely the education budget of Rp685.9 billion which is directed to support the development of industrial human resources and economic budgets of Rp1.82 trillion to accelerate growth and competitiveness in the manufacturing industry sector," he said.
He added that there are three main components in the use of the 2026 budget, including personnel expenditures of IDR 1.08 trillion, operational expenditures of IDR 373.5 billion and non-operational expenditures of IDR 1.05 trillion.
Non-operational spending consists of regular expenditures of Rp385.7 billion and national priority expenditures of Rp661.6 billion.
The following are the details of priority activities for the use of the Ministry of Industry's budget in 2026:
1. Strengthening IKM as supply chain amounting to Rp144.9 billion, consisting of new entrepreneurship growth of Rp108 billion, facilitation of IKM in product development, certification, partnership, market access, amounting to Rp29.9 billion and strengthening IKM centers of Rp7 billion.
2. The SDA-based industrial downstream program and priority industry development with a budget of IDR 136.1 billion, consisting of the development of priority industries of IDR 117.6 billion and downstream natural resource-based industries of IDR 18.5 billion.
3. Acceleration of exports of industrial products and services of IDR 127.2 billion, consisting of the opening of international industrial access and promotion of IDR 118.9 billion and facilitation in the context of increasing investment and exports of IDR 8.3 billion.
4. Increased industrial productivity through the use of innovation and technology amounting to Rp100.7 billion, consisting of engine/industrial equipment restructuring of Rp76.4 billion and the application of technology in the industrial sector of Rp24.3 billion.
5. The program strengthens the development of industrial human resources worth Rp99.9 billion, consisting of vocational education and industrial vocational training of Rp91.6 billion for 21,785 people as well as strengthening competency infrastructure of Rp8.3 billion.
6. The Green Industry Acceleration Program of IDR 18.8 billion, consisting of the fulfillment of the standards and principles of the green industry of IDR 16.6 billion and the development of new and renewable energy (EBT) of IDR 2.2 billion.

7. Programs to increase the use of domestic products and the development of the halal industry with a budget of Rp. 28.6 billion, consisting of business matching for domestic product expenditures of Rp. 4 billion and product certification of Rp. 12 billion, facilitation and development of the halal industry of Rp. 5.2 billion and international exhibitions of the halal industry of Rp. 7.4 billion.
8. The last program, namely industrial agglomeration through industrial areas amounting to Rp5.4 billion, consists of the development and formation of industrial areas of Rp2.1 billion as well as the facilitation of investment and the development of supply chains of Rp3.3 billion.
