Moore's Statement Is Salut And Proud Of Bruce Willis' Wife
JAKARTA - Actress Demi Moore praised the wife of her ex-husband, Emma Hemming, who took care of Bruce Willis in the midst of dementia in the past few years. Bruce Willis' health condition is known to have deteriorated so he chose to retire from acting.
Recently, Demi Moore was present on Oprah Winfrey's podcast where she shared the experience of her ex-husband facing front-temporal dementia or FTD with Bruce's wife now, Emma for her latest book, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path.
"There is no guide on how to handle it. Of course, as an ex-wife, even though our family is connected, it can be called an interesting position," said Demi Moore.
Emma takes care of this very well and that's the most beautiful thing. What she mentions in this book is important for caregivers to take care of themselves and if they don't spend time on it, then they can't be there for anyone else, "he explained.
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis separated in 1998 and officially divorced in 2000. Nine years later, Bruce married Emma Hemming and began to suffer from illness since 2023.

"He (Emma) did a great job. He is very dedicated to this. He has a lot of fear, strength, and support in navigating this," he said.
Despite the divorce, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis remain close considering they have three children together, namely Runmer, Scout, and Tallulah.
"It's hard to see someone who's so strong and his body condition is changing, but my point of view feels it's important to meet them," said The Substance star.
Previously, Emma Hemming was criticized after revealing she lived separately from Bruce Willis. The husband lives at home with a professional caregiver.
"To be honest, the opinion is very loud and noisy but if they don't have experience, they have no right and can't decide," said Emma Hemming in the video.
