Huawei Launches Aito M7 Facelift, Starting Pre-Sales September 5
JAKARTA Aito, the brand of collaboration between Huawei and Seres Group, officially opened pre-sales for their flagship SUV, the latest version of Aito M7, starting September 5, 2025. This model comes with a number of refreshes both in terms of design, technology, and performance.
Reporting from CnEVPost, Wednesday, September 3, the announcement was shared directly through the official Weibo Aito account, complete with interior images and details of additional specifications. The public was first able to see the debut of this SUV at the Chengdu Auto Show 2025 which has been going on since August 29, before its official launch on September 23.
The most striking change is seen in dimensions. The latest Aito M7 is more bongsor, with a length of 5,080 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,780 mm, and a wheelbase distance of 3,030 mm. This figure is larger than the previous model which has a length of 5,020 mm, a width of 1,945 mm, a height of 1,760 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.
For the choice of power, Aito still offers two options: pure electric vehicle (BEV) variant and long-distance electric vehicle (EREV). Both are available in five-seat and six-seat configurations, making them flexible for family and urban user needs.
The EV variant is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 37 kWh or 53 kWh, with a combined range of more than 1,600 km in full and charged battery conditions. Meanwhile, the BEV variant comes with a 100 kWh battery pack that can cover more than 700 km per full charge. All batteries are supplied by the energy technology giant, CATL.

One of the innovative features that stole attention was the presence of laser vision technology in the Limera cabin made by Huawei. This system integrates LiDAR and cameras neatly placed behind rearview mirrors and windshields, providing a cleaner look without a sensor bulge on the roof like most other modern cars.
For the record, Aito M7 first launched on July 4, 2022. The model had received a refresher in September 2023, followed by the launch of the M7 Ultra in May 2024 and the Pro SUV series in August 2024. Currently, Aito M7 has eight variants entirely based on the EREV.
With the various updates it brings, the latest Aito M7 is positioned not only as a premium family SUV, but also as a symbol of Huawei's cutting-edge technology in the automotive industry.
