The Number Of Reports Of Missing Persons Due To Increased Demonstration, KontraS Receives 33 Complaints
JAKARTA - Reports of missing people during the demonstration continued to increase on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Based on the records of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS) there were 33 reports of missing persons. Reports were received from a number of areas in Indonesia.
This was conveyed by KontraS through his official Instagram account as seen by VOI on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
In the Bandung area, there are reports of 4 missing people. There were 2 people reported missing during and after the demonstration.
The most missing person reports are in the Central Jakarta area, with reports of 20 missing people.
"East Jakarta there are 3 reports of missing people, North Jakarta there are 2 reports of missing people and It is not known where they came from, there were 2 reports of missing people. In total there were 33 reports," said KontraS upload, Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
