Can't Pray In Mosques Or Squares, This Is The Guide To Eid Prayer At Home
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religious Affairs allows Muslims to hold prayers in the congregation on Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri. This is one of the points in 'Guidance on The Implementation of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri prayer in Pandemic Situations'.
One of the points is to arrange for Eid prayers in mosques and open fields by coordinating with the local COVID-19 Handling Task Force.
"The Committee for Islamic Holidays /Eid Prayer Committee before holding Eid prayer in mosques and open fields must coordinate with the local government, the Task Force on Handling COVID-19, and local security elements", read the points of the guidance letter published on Thursday, May 6.
"To know the zoning status information and prepare supervisors so that the COVID-19 health protocol standards are run properly, safely, and controlled", he wrote again
In the letter numbered No. SE 07 of 2021 in Jakarta, the implementation of Eid prayer can be done in mosques and open fields with the record of the area included in the green and yellow zone of COVID-19.
As for those who live in the red and orange zones to be done in their homes, in line with the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council and other Islamic organizations.

Eid Prayer itself
When people are in their own state because they can't go home, MUI provides prayer guidance alone. Prayer begins with the intention of reading:
اُصَلِّى سُنَّةً عِيْدِ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ للهِ تَعَالَى
Meaning: I deliberately pray Sunah for Eid al-Fitr because Allah SWT
The provisions of Eid al-Fitr prayer alone, among others, recite the intention to worship alone, perform prayers with a slow reading (sirr) and there is no need for sermons.
Prayer Eid al-Fitr congregation
MUI provides special guidance for households who will pray in the congregation.
1. Before prayer, it is prescribed to recite takbir, tahmid, and tasbih.
2. Prayer begins by calling "ash-shalâta jâmi'ah", without adhan and iqamah.
3. Start with the intention of Eid prayer, which if pronounced reads: أ영ص ل ي سلن ة لع يلد اللف طر رلك علتلينن (م영أم ومامماماما) لله تعاله
It means: "I intend to pray the Sunnah of Eid al-Fitr two rak'ahs (to be makmum / imam) because Allah ta'ala." 4. Reading takbiratul ihram (الله أكبر) while raising both hands.
5. Read iftitah prayers.
6. Reading takbir 7 (seven) times (outside takbiratul ihram) and among each takbir it is recommended to read:
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ
7. Reading surah al-Fatihah, continued reading a short letter from the Qur'an.
8. Bow down, prostrate, sit between two prostrations, and so on until standing again as usual prayer.
9. In the second rakaat before reciting al-Fatihah, takbir is circumscribed 5 (five) times while raising hands, outside takbir when standing (takbir qiyam), and between each takbir is sunk reading:
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ
10. Reading Surah al-Fatihah, continued reading a short letter from the Qur'an.
11. Bow down, prostrate, and so on until greetings.
12. After greetings, it is permissible to listen to eid al-Fitr sermons.
Sermons can be carried out on the condition that there are four congregations with three Makmum (people who follow the priest's movement) then, khatib carries out sermons. This applies if there are family members who can preach.
However, if the congregation is less than four people or no one has the ability to preach then, Eid prayer can be done in the congregation without preaching.

1. Eid al-Fitr is the ruling on Sunnah which is the perfection of Eid prayer.
2. Eid al-Fitr is carried out with two sermons, carried out by standing and between the two separated by sitting for a moment.
