KPK Calls Satori-Heri Gunawan Again After Being Named A Corruption Suspect CSR BI-OJK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again examined the DPR legislators from the NasDem Party faction, Satori, and the Gerindra Party faction legislators, Heri Gunawan, on Monday and Tuesday.
Both were questioned in the investigation of alleged corruption of Bank Indonesia's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2020-2023 period.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Tuesday.
Budi has not detailed the material for the examination of the two. However, he confirmed that Satori and Heri Gunawan were examined as witnesses even though they had been named suspects.
Previously, the KPK announced Satori and Heri Gunawan as suspects in the alleged receipt of gratuities and money laundering (TPPU) from CSR BI and OJK funds.
In this case, Satori allegedly received a total of IDR 12.52 billion from three sources: IDR 6.30 billion from BI, IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through financial counseling activities, and IDR 1.04 billion from the working partner of Commission XI of the DPR. The funds are used for personal needs, including deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and other assets.
Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan is suspected of receiving Rp15.86 billion which is also used for personal gain, such as building restaurants, managing drink outlets, buying land, buildings, and four-wheeled vehicles. In detail, Rp6.26 billion comes from BI, Rp7.64 billion from OJK, and Rp1.94 billion from the working partner of Commission XI of the DPR.

The social funds received by the two suspects were channeled through the foundation for the construction of their respective aspirations, namely 4 foundations belonging to Heri Gunawan and 8 foundations belonging to Satori.
