Immanuel Ebenezer's Hidden Car Has Been Handed Over To KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has successfully seized one of three cars previously hidden from the official residence of former Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer.
The vehicle has been taken to the KPK's Red and White Building in Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"Regarding the search for the three vehicles, one has been delivered to the KPK," KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Tuesday, September 2.
Budi did not specify the type of vehicle or who delivered it. "We can't say who delivered it yet. What's certain is that it's the relevant parties," he said.
The KPK is still hunting for the other two vehicles. Budi appealed to anyone who knew about or moved the cars to cooperate.
"Once again, we urge you to deliver these vehicles to the KPK, because these assets are needed in the process of providing evidence in the case and as an initial step in asset recovery," Budi said.
The Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Asep Guntur Rahayu, revealed that the three vehicles being sought are a Toyota Land Cruiser, a Mercedes-Benz, and a BAIC. All three were allegedly removed from Ebenezer's official residence after he was caught in a sting operation on Wednesday night (August 20, 2025).
"His relatives or his associates likely spontaneously removed the cars from the house we visited that night," Asep said on Thursday night (August 28, 2025).
According to Asep, the cars' whereabouts were only revealed after the confession of suspect Irvian Bobby Mahendro, the Coordinator of Institutional and Personnel Affairs for K3 2022–2025. Irvian initially only admitted to giving Ebenezer Rp 3 billion and a Ducati motorcycle, so the team focused on investigating those assets first.
11 Suspects and Dozens of Vehicles Seized as Evidence
This case stemmed from a KPK sting operation that netted 14 individuals, including Immanuel Ebenezer. Based on the investigation, the KPK named 11 suspects in connection with alleged extortion in the processing of occupational safety and health (K3) certification.
They are:
1. Irvian Bobby Mahendro – Coordinator of the K3 Institutional and Personnel Sector (2022–2025)
2. Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra – Coordinator of the Occupational Safety Competency Testing and Evaluation Sector (2022–present)

From this undercover operation, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated 15 cars, 7 motorcycles, Rp 170 million in cash, and USD 2,201 as initial evidence.
Following the announcement of his legal status, President Prabowo Subianto immediately dismissed Immanuel Ebenezer from his position as Deputy Minister of Manpower. This decision was announced by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi in late August.
