BYD Bakal Pamerkan Wagon Hybrid Seal 06 DM-i Di Munich Motor Show, Tempuhnya Capai 2,000 Km
JAKARTA China's auto giant BYD is ready to showcase its model sophistication in the European market by introducing its newest wagon, BYD Seal 06 DM-i, at the Munich Motor Show (IAA Mobility 2025) on September 8.
It is known, this car is already available in China's domestic market at affordable prices ranging from 109,800 yuan or around Rp250 million.
Launching CarNewsChina, Tuesday, September 2, Seal 06 DM-iPORT is a variant of the Seal 06 DM-i sedan. This car adopts BYD's signature "Marine Aesthetics" design language, which is characterized by a slim LED forward light, a twisted grip trapium, and a hidden door handle. As a horizontal model, it has a flatter roof line, a larger rear window glass, and is equipped with a functional rooftop rack.
As a wagon, BYD Seal 06 DM-i highlights its practicality side. This car bag offers 670 liters of space, and can be expanded to 1,535 liters by folding the back seat. Uniquely, this car also has a refrigerator that can heat food, and support the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function that allows it to function as an external electrical resource.
On the interior, the driver is spoiled with a touchscreen floating in the middle, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a three-stop steering. The top variant comes with a touch screen 15.6 inches, seven airbags, a Disus-C damping control system, and a 360-degree camera. The entire model is also equipped with an advanced DiPilot 100 driver assistance system, supported by 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and five millimeter wave radars to support autonomous navigation on toll roads.

BYD Seal 06 DM-i wagon carries an efficient fifth-generation plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system. The basic variant uses a 1.5-liter engine paired with an electric motorbike of 120 kW, capable of traveling 80 km with only electrical mode and accelerating from 0-100 km/hour in 8.7 seconds.
Meanwhile, the top variant uses a 160 kW electric motor, which increases the range of electric mode to 150 km and accelerates acceleration of 0-100 km/hour to 7.7 seconds. The combination of 65 liter batteries and fuel tanks gives this car a total range of up to 2,000 kilometers, making it the ideal choice for long-distance travel.
