PTPN IV PalmCo Distributes Basic Food Assistance For Veterans And The Community
JAKARTA - PTPN IV PalmCo distributed basic food assistance to 120 beneficiaries consisting of veterans of freedom fighters, workshops, surrounding communities, and children of tahfidz cottages.
This assistance was distributed through the Regional VII PTPN IV PalmCo, which covers Lampung and its surroundings at the end of August.
According to PTPN IV Institutional Relations Director PalmCo, Irwan Warin-Angin, this assistance program is part of the commitment of one of the subholdings of PTPN III (Persero) to continue to build harmonious relations with the community and have a sustainable positive impact.
Irwan said the company realized its success could not be separated from the full support of the community around its operational area.
"We understand that our achievements are not only determined by the company's performance, but also by the continuous support from the community. Therefore, we are committed to making a real contribution that can be felt directly by them," said Irwan in Jakarta, Monday, September 1.
He said the steps taken by PTPN IV PalmCo further emphasized the company's commitment to always share and support the surrounding community in various aspects of life, through real and sustainable concern.
In addition to veterans and full-fledged work, assistance was also handed over to the children of the tahfidz cottage and the surrounding community in need.
PTPN IV PalmCo Regional VII Region Head, Denny Ramadhan explained that this activity is a form of gratitude for the achievements that have been achieved by the company and part of efforts to strengthen ties between companies and the community.
"For us, this is an opportunity to give back to the people who have supported us. This assistance is a form of our gratitude to veterans who have struggled, as well as to the people who have participated in maintaining the continuity of our business," added Denny.
On the other hand, the Secretary of the Veterans Council of the Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) Bandar Lampung City, Ali Anwar, expressed his appreciation for the attention given by the company. Ali said that this basic food assistance meant a lot to veterans who had fought for the independence of the nation.
"This assistance shows the extraordinary attention of PTPN IV PalmCo to us veterans. We are very grateful because this company not only cares about the sustainability of its business, but also for our welfare," said Ali.
