Snoop Dogg Denies Sorry After Lightyear Film Criticism
JAKARTA - Rapper Snoop Dogg recently caused a stir for criticizing the Disney film entitled Lightyear. It is known that this film has drawn criticism for having elements of LGBTQ (Lesbi, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) in the story.
Last week, Snoop Dogg was present at the It's Giving broadcast where he told how surprised he was when he watched the film Lightyear with his grandson. Lightyear is a spin-off of the Toy Story franchise.
In the film, there is a scene that shows two women kissing and raising children together. The scene made Snopp Dogg receive many questions from his grandson which he had difficulty answering.
'They are like 'He has a baby with another woman' My grandson in the middle of the film asking 'Papa Snopp? How can he have a baby with another woman? She's a woman!' said Snoop Dogg imitating his grandson's words.
"I just realized, I'm not watching this (question). I'm just watching. So I said 'Just check out the film' but it actually adds to a new question 'He just said they have a baby and both are girls, how come?' he continued.

Snoop Dogg admitted that he had difficulty explaining and was afraid to watch a film with his grandson. He felt he could not answer questions logically.
"So I'm afraid to go to the cinema now. You throw me in a situation where I don't have the answer. So I thought what part of the film is this?" said Snoop Dogg.
They're kids. What needs to be shown to them at this age? They'll ask. I don't have an answer," said Dogg.
The comment had drawn criticism from the public so that Snoop Dogg was said to have responded by saying, (Comments) are fake. Dogg then said that the false response was not true.
This is not the first time Lightyear has received criticism from the public. This film is even prohibited from showing in a number of countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman.
