Bogor City Government Urges Schools To Hold Online Learning September 1.2

BOGOR Bogor City Government (Pemkot) through the Education Office (Disdik) issued a Circular (SE) numbered 100.3.4/4822-Secret in 2025 concerning the Proposal for Learning Activities.

In the SE signed by the Head of the Bogor City Education Office, Herry Karnadi, the City Government appealed to all PAUD/PKBM, SD, and public and private junior high schools to carry out online learning activities for two days, namely on September 1, 2025.

This policy was taken as an anticipatory step to help security forces maintain the conduciveness of the City of Bogor as well as to ease parental concerns amid the current political and security situation.

"We urge all schools, teachers, and parents to ensure students continue to take part in learning from their respective homes. This is an effort to maintain security, prevent unwanted things, and ensure that the learning process continues," said Herry Karnadi, Monday, September 1.

He emphasized that teachers and classroom teachers are asked to coordinate with parents in monitoring student activity. Meanwhile, school supervisors are required to report the results of monitoring online teaching and learning activities to the head of the field according to the level of education.

In addition, Herry also reminded educators and education staff to keep working as usual.

"We also urge educators, education staff, and students to maintain conduciveness and not be easily provoked by invitations or news with unclear sources," he said.

Furthermore, the school was also asked to assign the Student Task Force to actively participate in helping monitor the situation and conditions, given the planned demonstration in the Bogor City area.

The city government hopes that all parties can play an active role in maintaining order so that the action plan can take place in a peaceful, safe and conducive manner without disturbing community activities.
