Mako Gegana Kwitang Fire Successfully Extinguished, Traffic Flow Smoothly

JAKARTA - Dozens of firefighters who arrived at the Gegana Headquarters building on Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen District, Central Jakarta, continued to struggle to extinguish the fire.

"There are 12 fire engines with 48 personnel deployed to the location to extinguish the fire," said one of the firefighters, August 31, 2025.

Dozens of officers who were deployed managed to extinguish the fire. At around 17.35 WIB, officers managed to extinguish the fire.

"It's still in the cooling process until now. The object caught fire by Mako Gegana," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Gegana Headquarters building on Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta, caught fire again on Sunday, August 31, 2025, afternoon. The fire broke out at around 16.30 WIB.

From VOI's observation at the location, there were no fire engines at the fire site. Meanwhile, the flames emerged from the main building in the front.

The fire incident caused black smoke that soared high in the air in the Jalan Kramat Raya area, Senen.
