Anticipating The Continuing Demo, KAI Implements An Extraordinary Stop Operation Pattern At Jatinegara Station

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has imposed an Extraordinary Stop Operation Pattern (BLB) policy at Jatinegara Station for a number of long-distance train trips (KAJJ). This pattern of operations is valid until September 2.

KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Anne Purba, said this policy was taken as an anticipatory step with demonstrations around Jakarta, as well as providing easy access to ups and downs for customers.

"With the extraordinary stop at Jatinegara Station, customers have additional options for the process of getting off or getting off the train," he said, Sunday, August 31.

Anne said Jatinegara Station is also a station integrated with various other modes of transportation, making it easier for customers to move in conditions of demonstrations at several location points.

"This step not only provides additional options for customers, but also part of KAI's efforts to support smooth urban transportation flows so that they continue to operate properly amid the social dynamics that occur," he said.

"We continue to prioritize safety, comfort, and ensure that all facilities at Jatinegara Station are ready to serve customers," continued Anne.

KAI invites the public to remain calm, use train services wisely, and maintain public facilities for the sake of mutual comfort.

"Obey the rules, ignore the officers' directions for mutual security," he said.
