Surya Paloh Removes Ahmad Sharoni And Nafa Urbach From NasDem DPR Members
Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh removed two of his cadres who were members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, namely Ahmad Sharoni and Nafa Urbach as of September 1, 2025.
The statement was made by the Secretary General of the NasDem Party DPP Hermawi F Taslim in an official statement on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Hermawi said the NasDem Party's struggle was actually a crystallization and spirit of the people who always relied on the National goals of the Indonesian nation as stated in the opening of the 1945 Constitution.
Therefore, the NasDem Party emphasized that in fact the aspirations of the people must remain the main reference in the struggle of the NasDem Party.
"On the way to carry out the aspirations of the community, it turns out that there is a statement from the representatives of the people, especially members of the DPR-RI from the NasDem Party faction which has offended and hurt people's feelings, and this is a deviation to the struggle of the NasDem Party," said Hermawi.
"The NasDem Party DPP stated that starting Monday, September 1, 2025, the NasDem Party DPP disabled Ahmad Sahroni and Nafa Urbach as members of the DPR-RI from the NasDem Party faction," he continued.
