Three Political Interests Allegedly Riding Demonstration
JAKARTA - Executive Director of Trust Indonesia, Ahmad Fadhli, suspects that demonstrations by various elements of society that are still ongoing cannot be separated from the practice of riding around with political interests.
Every political event always has pros and cons that have the potential to be utilized by various parties. The problem of hanging around in demonstrations is unavoidable, because every political event will always have pros and cons," he said, Sunday, August 31, 2025.
He explained that if the issues raised were related to three members of the Indonesian House of Representatives who went viral, such as Eko Patrio and Uya Kuya from PAN and Ahmad Sahroni from NasDem, then this was closely related to internal political competition.
"Moreover, we know, the three individuals are very arrogant, seem hedon, and like flexing on social media," he said.
If the issue of demonstration shifts to the police institution, continued Fadhli, then it reflects the internal competition within the National Police. The reason is, the position of the police chief who has been held by the same person for 4 years and 7 months becomes a 'hot chair' that is not healthy for regeneration.

Meanwhile, regarding the possibility of allegations of involvement of foreign parties in the current political chaos, it is considered as a result of the active free foreign policy run by President Prabowo Subianto which has left many foreign interests uncommodated.
"We know that President Prabowo is closer to America, while the previous president is closer to China," he said.
Fadhli emphasized that demonstrations would not appear without reason. Therefore, state officials are required to improve their communication patterns with the community.
"Indeed, many parties have taken advantage in recent demonstrations, but it must be remembered that there will be no smoke if there is no fire. People will not demonstrate if officials are good at communicating," he concluded.
