President Prabowo Invites Islamic Organizations To Reduce Situations And Restore Security
JAKARTA - In order to defuse the situation so that it becomes more conducive after the demonstration which led to anarchism on August 28, 2025 yesterday. President Prabowo Subianto invited 16 Islamic organizations including Muhammadiyah, NU, DDII, Hidayatullah, AL Irsyad, Persis, MUI, KB PII and others to meet in Hambalang, Saturday, August 30.
Presiden Prabowo Subianto mengajak seluruh komponen ormas Islam untuk Bersama dengan pemerintah menjaga situasi keamanan di masyarakat agar semakin kondusif.
The big family of Indonesian Islamic Students (KB PII) really appreciates the President's initiative which is as high as the response to the rapid response to the latest developments in the situation by taking a dialogical and deliberative approach. According to Nasrullah Larada, the general chairman of the Central Executive of KB PII who was also present at the meeting stated that this was something positive and needed to be supported by many parties for the conduciveness of the situation.
"This meeting is a very positive and precise signal for our nation. When the atmosphere heats up, we must strengthen communication and friendship between the nation'selements. KB PII believes that the way of dialogue is the best way to solve every problem of the nation, not with anarchic and vandalism actions that actually harm us all and tarnish the values of justice we are fighting for," said Nasrullah Larada in his statement to reporters, Saturday, August 30.

Nasrullah Larada emphasized that the tragedy of the death of our brother Affan Kurniawan, an ojol driver, was a very unfortunate event and had to be addressed with a legal process that was transparent, fair, and accountable.
"We express our deepest condolences for the death of our brothers. We encourage law enforcement officials to work professionally and transparently in thoroughly investigating this incident so that justice is truly upheld and no party feels sacrificed," he added.
Furthermore, Nasrullah called on all active cadres and alumni of the Indonesian Islamic Student extended family (KB PII) and the wider community, especially the younger generation, to refrain from being provoked by all forms of incitement that can divide national unity.
"To all elements of the nation, let's take care of a conducive atmosphere together. We return all differences of opinion to the corridors of law and constitution. Violence, arson, and destruction of public facilities and the state are not solutions, but the beginning of destruction. Let's realize peace through dialogue and brotherhood, "he said.
