JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that public transportation services such as Transjakarta, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), and Light Rail Transit, will continue to operate. Although several bus stops were damaged by mass riots.
"All modes of transportation have now been opened and the fleet under the authority of the BUMD must continue to operate," Pramono told reporters, Saturday, August 30.
In addition, all stops are being processed because they are the target of mass anger and will soon be corrected. This step must be taken immediately to ensure public transportation services to the public.
It is known that 6 TransJakarta bus stops were burned and 16 others were damaged by the masses. Then, six MRT Istora Mandiri entrances were also damaged.

"Then the Transjakarta bus stop will be activated in stages, which was burned yesterday because yesterday it could not be eaten," continued Pramono.

"All transportation is under the authority of the Jakarta Government. So starting today until the next week the costs are zero, zero rupiah, so it's free," said Pramono.
Meanwhile, six bus stops were burned by the masses, namely; Senayan Roundabout Bus Stop, Polda Metro Jaya, Senen Toyota Rangga, Sentral Senen, Senayan Bank DKI, and Pemuda Gate.
