Access Closed, 12 Long-distance Trains From Pasar Senen Diverted To Stop In Jatinegara
JAKARTA - Due to the closure of road access to Pasar Senen Station this Saturday, PT Kereta Api Indonesia or KAI (Persero) Operational Area (Daop) 1 Jakarta stopped 12 long-distance train trips (KAJJ) departing from Pasar Senen Station at Jatinegara Station.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwintoko in Jakarta, Saturday, said the closure was carried out on Jalan Kramat Kwitang and the Pasar Senen intersection to Pasar Senen Station, so it is necessary to engineer operating patterns to make it easier for customers to access trains
A number of trains that stopped at Jatinegara Station on Saturday, namely KA 110 Fajar Utama Yogyakarta, KA 272 Airlangga, KA 284 Serayu Pagi, KA 204 Tegal Bahari, and KA 90 New Styles South Night.
Then, KA 270 Matarmaja, KA 112 Sawunggalih, KA 152 Brantas, KA 300 Cikuray, KA 246 Majapahit, KA 260 Tawang Jaya, and KA 108 Senja Utama Yogyakarta.
"With this extraordinary dismissal, customers have additional options to take the train from Jatinegara Station, apart from Pasar Senen Station," said Ixfan, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, August 30.

He said the engineering of this operating pattern was temporary. KAI Daop 1 Jakarta continues to coordinate with related parties to ensure train travel services remain safe, smooth, and comfortable for all customers.
