This Saturday, MRT Jakarta Only Opens Lebak Bulus Station To Blok M

JAKARTA - For the time being during the demonstration period in Jakarta on Saturday, PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) only opened Lebak Bulus Station to Blok M.

"We implemented a limited service pattern (short loop) from Lebak Bulus Station to Blok M Station with a travel time (headway) of 10 minutes," said Acting Daily Task Force (Plt) Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Ahmad Pratomo in Jakarta, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, August 30.

He said the mode of transportation service operates starting at 06.00 WIB at several stations, namely Lebak Bulus, Fatmawati, Cipete Raya, Haji Nawi, Block A, and Blok M.

Then, the HI Roundabout Station and ASEAN have no operational activities or receive passengers.

This pattern was implemented in connection with the situation of the mass demonstrations around the Polda and Istora areas.

"To maintain the safety, safety and comfort of all users," said Ahmad.

Furthermore, he revealed that MRT Jakarta also evaluates field conditions periodically to determine the possibility of re-implementing a full-loop service pattern with a train scheme that does not stop at a number of stations (skip stations), namely Senayan Station and Istora Station if the situation is considered conducive.

However, if conditions are not yet possible, then the limited service pattern will remain in effect until the end of operating hours.
