JAKARTA - The Jatinegara Police were damaged and hundreds of demonstrators burned using Molotov cocktails on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the early hours of the morning.

The masses burned the front of the Jatinegara Police area. Previously, hundreds of people had carried out demonstrations in the area of Jalan Otto Iskandardinata (Otista), Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the destruction was carried out by throwing stones and bamboo directed at the Jatinegara Police. Then the demonstrators burned it with Molotov cocktails.

There were no police officers at the police station who were on guard. The crowd can freely push in to destroy and burn.

In addition, the demonstrators also burned the motorbike of the police service parked at the Jatinegara Police and the office name board.

Furthermore, riots again spread to the East Jakarta Metro Police office. People who were fed up with the repressive actions of the police again raided the East Jakarta Police Headquarters.
