The Story Of Affan's Colleague, The Ojol Driver Who Was Run Over By A Rantis Car: We Ask For Justice, We Have Never Been Heard

JAKARTA - Demonstrations carried out by workers, students and coalitions of civil society in front of the DPR RI building, Jakarta, Thursday, August 28 have claimed lives.

Affan Kurniawan, the 21-year-old online motorcycle taxi driver, died after being hit and run over by a Rantis Brimob car, Thursday night, August 28.

As a form of solidarity, Mako Brimob Kwitang was raided by hundreds of ojol drivers from Thursday night to Friday afternoon. They did not accept their 'one asphalt' counterparts being victims of the Police's repressive actions.

Hundreds of ojol drivers also carried out a convoy to Affan's final resting place at the Karet Bivak TPU, Jakarta. Maswalid, one of the ojol drivers who has been a driver for 6 years, also condolences for the unfortunate events experienced by his colleagues. Check out the full information on VOI.id.
