Sightings Of A Row Of Burned Cars Burned In Front Of The Central Java Police
The anarchist who previously held an action in front of the Central Java Police Headquarters in Semarang City, Friday night, burned a number of cars in the courtyard of the Central Java Governor's office.
The crowd pushed in through the back door of the governor's office by tearing down the gate.
In addition to burning cars with red and black license plates, the masses also damaged a number of cars in the vicinity.
Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said that four cars were burned by the masses.
"After being pushed, the crowd headed back to the governor's office," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 29.
According to him, the masses climbed and damaged the back gate of the governor's office.
In addition to cars, he said, the masses were also reported to have damaged a number of motorcycles in the office.
He said officers were still trying to push the crowd towards the Simpanglima Semarang area.
"It is still driven by using water cannons and tear gas," he said.
