Riau Police, Polres To Polsek Hold Magical Prayers And Joint Prayers For Affan Kurniawan
PEKANBARU Polda Riau performed the occult prayer at the Al-Zim Mosque of the Riau Police Headquarters, Friday, August 29. This activity was attended by the main officials and personnel of the Riau Police as a form of condolences for the death of Affan Kurniawan, an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) in Jakarta.
Riau Police Chief Inspector General Pol Herry Heryyawan emphasized that concern for others is part of the task of the National Police, not only to maintain security, but also to be present to strengthen the community in joy and sorrow.
"We want to show that the National Police is not only tasked with enforcing the law, but also being part of the big family of the community. What the community feels, we also feel," said the Riau Police Chief.
In addition, the Riau Police Chief also offered prayers so that the deceased would have the best place by Allah SWT.
"Hopefully the late Husnul khatimah, all his deeds of worship will be accepted, and the family left behind will be given fortitude and strength," he said.
Not only at the Regional Police Headquarters, the occult prayer activities after Friday prayers were also carried out simultaneously by the Resort Police to the Riau Police Sector. This shows an equal concern in all police lines in Riau.

The Riau Police also prepared a series of joint prayers (tahlilan) with the ojol community and Riau students in Riau Province. The activity will be held tomorrow at the An-Nur Pekanbaru Grand Mosque.
"This joint prayer (tahlilan) is a form of concern and solidarity between the National Police and ojol drivers and Riau students, who we know as street fighters for their families," added the Kapolda.
Through this activity, the Riau Police hopes that there will be more closeness between the Police and the community, as well as the growing spirit of togetherness and social awareness in the community of ojol and the wider community.
