"With BRI's extensive network to remote areas of the country, we see the opportunity to introduce digital financial services to more people. This debit card is not only a transaction tool, but also a gateway to more advanced financial literacy, where people can get to know digital and crypto services gradually," he said, in a written statement, Friday, August 29.
Not only that, but customers who join will receive additional protection in the form of accident insurance up to 250 percent from account balances, as well as access to BRI loyalty programs. The activation process is carried out seamlessly, starting from opening accounts with special flagging, data integration to INDODAX, to issuing token rewards.
This strategic collaboration is also reinforced by the presence of BRI and INDODAX as co-hosts at Coinfest Asia 2025 in Bali, which is the main event of the blockchain, startup and digital Enthusiasts community in Asia.
Touching on this participation, William added, Coinfest Asia is an important momentum to show how collaboration between banks and crypto can have a real impact.
"We want to show the international community that Indonesia is ready to become one of the main players in digital financial adoption," he said.
