MPR Asset Building In Front Of The West Java DPRD Building Burned By Masses
The asset building belonging to the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) in front of the West Java DPRD building, Bandung City, was burned by the masses during a joint demonstration by online motorcycle taxi drivers and students on Friday (29/8).
Based on observations at the location, the mass of action initially threw stones at the West Java DPRD building, firecrackers, and Molotov cocktails. The loop was also directed to the house opposite the council building, precisely on Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City.
The building, which once functioned as the official residence of the Deputy Governor of West Java in the era of the Governor of Nuriana, then caught fire after being hit in front by a Molotov throw until the fire spread inside.
Until this news was revealed, the flames seemed to enlarge and scorched most of the buildings.

The Head of the Administrative and Leadership Bureau (Adpim) of the West Java Provincial Government, Akhmad Taufiqurrahman, confirmed that the building was an asset belonging to the MPR.
"That's an asset of the MPR RI building," said Akhmad as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 29.
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has received a report regarding the incident and is on his way to Gedung Sate to directly monitor the development of the situation.
Meanwhile, the police are still carrying out security around the location, while firefighters are trying to tame the fire so as not to spread to other buildings.
