Jasa Marga Conducts Traffic Engineering For Toll Roads Due To Demonstration Actions In Senayan
JAKARTA - Demonstrations that are still taking place in the area of the MPR/DPR Senayan Building have a direct impact on the smooth running of traffic on the Inner City Toll Road.
Jasa Marga through the Representative Office 2 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) together with the Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) and the Police took security measures by regulating the flow of vehicle traffic, as a result of demonstrations around the MPR/DPR Building.
Along with increasing mass concentration until 17.00 WIB in front of the MPR/DPR Building, there is a traffic density on the Inner City Toll Road, especially ahead of Kuningan's exit access to Senayan.
Based on the discretion of the Police, starting at 17.13 WIB, traffic diversion is carried out as an anticipatory step.
Meanwhile, road users from the Jagorawi and Jakarta-Cikampek toll roads who want to go to Slipi are diverted to continue their journey towards Tanjung Priok or avoid the Cawang 'Pluit' Toll Road. Meanwhile, for road users heading to Cawang from the opposite direction, they are directed to turn around at KM 12+400.
"For the sake of safety and security of road users, for the discretion of the Police, the Cawang-Tomang-Pluit Toll Road is temporarily diverting traffic during demonstrations. We urge road users to avoid the Cawang-Tomong-Pluit toll road until the demonstration is over," said Senior Manager Representative Office 2 JMT Ginanjar Rakhmanto, in his statement, Friday, August 29.
