Witness Of Rizieq Case Hearing At UMMI Hospital Reveals Bima Arya's Desire To Revoke Report But Not Realized
JAKARTA - The witness presented by Rizieq Shihab, Muhammad Mahidi mentioned the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, had intended to revoke the report of the results of the UMMI hospital swab test. But in the end the case continued.
The statement about the retraction of the report was delivered by the witness when rizieq Shihab's attorney mentioned about a meeting between Muhammad Mahidi and Bima Arya.
Witnesses acknowledged the encounter. The meeting at Bogor City Hall on November 29, 2020 according to witnesses was attended by several officials.

In the meeting, according to him, there was a statement from Bima Arya that would revoke the report of the results of the UMMI hospital swab.
"Because the talk was only focused on me, just clarifying why to report and he replied 'habib we insyaallah will revoke the report' that's all," mahdi said imitating the speech of Bima Arya.
But the report was never retracted. The case of UMMI kin hospital swab test results was included in the trial stage.
In this case, Rizieq Shihab was accused of spreading false news or hoaxes that caused trouble. This false news related to his health condition that was confirmed positive COVID-19 while in UMMI Hospital Bogor, West Java.
Rizieq Shihab was charged with Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2), Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning The Regulation of Criminal Law and/or Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) of Law No. 4 of 1984 concerning Infectious Disease Outbreaks and/or Article 216 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
