Josh Freese Admits He Doesn't Really Like Foo Fighters Music

JAKARTA - It has been more than three months since Josh Freese was no longer the drummer for Foo Fighters. Currently, his position has been replaced by Ilan Rubin, who played for Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, to Angels & Airwaves.

Previously, Freeae expressed his disappointment with Dave Grohl cs. He admitted that he was surprised when it was announced that he was fired from the band.

Now, Freese talks more about the dismissal during a recent interview with the New York Times.

"If you think about it, it might be more of a problem for their management," said the 52-year-old drummer.

When asked further about his current feelings for Foo Fighters, Freese revealed that he did not like the music played in the band.

"Music is not what I really like."

His two years of service at Foo Fighters, 2023 - 2025, was even referred to as a stressful situation.

"I came as drummer Dave Grohl, and the person who was supposed to save the day after Taylor Hawkins' beloved death," Freese said.

Currently, Freese is the drummer for Nine Inch Nails. He was asked to fill the void left by Ilan Rubin. He also admitted that he was surprised by this exchange.

"I don't believe it," said Freese. "But Ilan is a phenomenal drummer, a phenomenal musician. He will be perfect for a gig."
