Jakarta's Security Conditions Are Not Stable, 2 BI And Kemenkeu Large Agendas Are Postponed
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) officially postponed the implementation of the monthly press conference of the KiTa State Budget which should have been held on Friday morning, August 29, 2025. This postponement was carried out following the security conditions in DKI Jakarta which were considered not conducive.
In an official statement delivered by the Ministry of Finance's Bureau of Communication and Information Services (KLI), the event, which was originally scheduled to take place at 09.30 WIB, was rescheduled to Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
"The permit to inform you about the change in the schedule for the KiTa State Budget press conference from what was originally scheduled for today, Friday, August 29, 2025 at 09.30 WIB to Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Thus conveyed, apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for the attention and cooperation of media colleagues," said the Ministry of Finance's KLI Bureau in a short message, Friday, August 29.
The KiTa State Budget press conference is a monthly agenda of the Ministry of Finance which submits the latest reports regarding state revenues and expenditures to the public. Usually, this event involves the Minister of Finance and the ranks of echelon I officials.
Not only the Ministry of Finance, but Bank Indonesia (BI) also decided to postpone another important national agenda, namely the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) for Inflation Control and Acceleration of Regional Digitalization Expansion (P2DD) which is scheduled to take place this afternoon at the State Palace.

"In connection with the current conditions that are not conducive, we hereby inform the TPID & TP2DD National Coordination Meeting to be POSTPONED & TDAK, SO IT WILL BE HELD TODAY. We will continue to monitor the latest developments & immediately update if there is further information," wrote the Communications Department of Bank Indonesia (BI) in a short message, Friday, August 29.
The National Coordination Meeting was originally designed as a strategic momentum to strengthen regional inflation control and accelerate the digitization of regional government financial transactions.
The event is planned to be attended by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, BI Governor Perry Warjiyo, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, and regional heads from all over Indonesia.
