Jabodebek LRT Users Can Buy Tickets With QRIS Tap Starting October 2025
JAKARTA - Jabodebek LRT users will have more payment options in buying the transportation ticket. There is a new payment option, namely with QRIS Tap starting October 2025.
Currently, the payment methods at the Jabodebek LRT are available using a Multi Trip (KMT) Commuter Line Card, Banking Electronic Money Card, Access by KAI, and LinkAja.
For your information, this payment using the QRIS Tap method will make it easier for Jabodebek LRT users. This is because users only need to scan the QR Code using a cellphone that has the Near Field Communication (NFC) feature.
The Executive Vice President of the Jabodebek LRT, Mochamad Purnomosidi, said that the payment for the Jabodebek LRT ticket using QRIS Tap will be implemented starting October 2025.
"QRIS Tap is because this is a national program, so we are likely to launch it in early October," said Purnomosidi at the Jabodebek LRT Operations Two Years, Jakarta, written Friday, August 29.
Currently, continued Purnomosidi, his party is indeed collaborating with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and Bank Indonesia (BI) to implement a payment system at the Jabodebek LRT.
"We are now building the system with BI's friends, Mandiri, from our developer ticketing," he said.
Apart from QRIS Tap, Purnomosidi said that in the future payments or ticket purchases could also use the Visa Credit Card. This is in line with the agreement to purchase the right to naming or naming rights of Jabodebek Kuningan LRT Station by Visa.

"So the influence in it is the use of credit cards or IMV. Then naming rights is also at Kuningan Station," he said.
According to Purnomosidi, the realization of the plan to change the name of Jabodebek Kuningan LRT Station and also payments with Visa Credit Card will be implemented as early as October 2025.
"Our estimate is that if we look at the timeline that we have compiled together with them, it will be around October or November (the implementation)," said Purnomosidi.
