Decree Doesn't Also Drop, Distribution Of 1,000 Food Packages For Mataram Flood Victims In July 2025 Is Consistent

JAKARTA - The Mataram City Social Service (Dinsos) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province said the distribution of 1,000 food packages for flood victims that occurred on July 6, 2025, was still waiting for a decree (SK) to be determined to the regions.

Head of the Mataram City Social Service (Dinsos) Lalu Samsul Adnan said the food packages in the form of clothing and food at the Mataram Social Service (Dinsos) are currently in the packaging process.

"We are just waiting for the decree to determine according to the name and address (by name by address) as many as 1,000 flood victims who will receive assistance with clothing and food packages," he said in Mataram, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Food assistance prepared by the Mataram City Social Service includes rice, cooking oil, and instant noodles. Meanwhile, clothing packages include mats and blankets.

For the determination of the decree, he said, it was proposed by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Mataram City, because various data collection processes for flood victims were fully carried out by BPBD.

"Meanwhile, we are waiting, and ready to distribute aid according to the decree so that it is right on target," he said.

According to him, to prepare the food packages, the Mataram Social Service has allocated a budget of Rp600 million from unexpected expenditure funds (BTT) 2025.

The provision of assistance to 1,000 flood victims will be provided with a priority scale in accordance with the verification data from BPBD for flood victims based on by name by address.

Temporary data from the Mataram City BPBD recorded the number of victims affected by the flood that occurred on July 6, 2025, as many as 8,536 families or 33,290 people spread across six sub-districts throughout Mataram City, 6 people were injured, one died, and 740 people were displaced.

Meanwhile, the impact of the damage was recorded at 75 housing units, 5 bridge units, 2 school buildings, 2 damaged road locations, 3 worship units, and 3 office units.

"However, the target assistance package that we will provide is 1,000 packages and is prioritized for residents affected by the worst category according to data from BPBD," he said.

Samsul added that the clothing and food packages that had been prepared would be divided along with the assistance of household equipment to be provided by the Mataram City BPBD.

Assistance from the Mataram City BPBD included gas stoves, gas cylinders, and other kitchen utensils because many flood victims lost cooking utensils.

"So that the benefits can be felt directly by the recipients, the distribution is scheduled for equality after the decree on target determination," he said.
