The video of an official car with the words Brimob looks crushed by a man in an ojol jacket (online motorcycle taxi) in the Jalan Purification Raya area, Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday, August 28, 2025, evening.

The 1 minute 30 second video circulated through a chain message in the midst of the critical situation of the DPR's demonstration. Until tonight, the Cleaning Area, Pejompongan, Central Jakarta is still very crowded with people from various circles.

In the video, it can be seen. The approached car reads Brimob at high speed breaking through the crowd on Jalan Purification Raya. Whether the car driver saw you or not, suddenly the man in an ojol jacket lying on the road was hit by the car.

Residents or the masses who saw him shouted and were immediately angry. They immediately swarmed the officers' cars and carried out the damage.

Allegedly panicked, the approached car immediately stepped on the gas. The man in the motorcycle jacket was still at the bottom of the car and was dragged along. Residents tried to chase the approached car.

According to a VOI source, the victim was identified as Moh. Umar Amarudin (30) from Cikidang, West Java.

"It's true, the information is that he died at the Pelni hospital," said a VOI source.

The victim was an ojol puller who was passing at the scene. This incident drew criticism from a number of Ojol attractors throughout Indonesia.

"Yes, those who were run over by the barabaya apparatus," he said.
