Six Main Demands For Labor Demo August 28, 2025

JAKARTA - Workers participated in the August 28, 2025 demonstration in front of the DPR Building.

They brought in six main demands, namely: removing outsourcing, rejecting low wages, stopping layoffs, forming a layoff task force, labor tax reform, passing the Employment Bill without omnibus law, passing the Asset Confiscation Bill, and revising the 2029 Election Bill.

Since the morning the action took place in an orderly manner. Volunteers provide ambulance and logistics posts. But unfortunately in the afternoon the demonstration ended chaotically.

Various elements of society and students were also involved in clashes with the police. Tears were fired. Until finally the sasses split towards Slipi, Jalan Pemuda, and GBK.
