President Prabowo Opens the 2025 Apkasi Autonomy Expo at ICE BSD

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated and opened the "Apkasi Otonomi Expo 2025: Trade, Tourism, Investment, and Procurement" exhibition at the International Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD, Tangerang, this morning.

The Apkasi Otonomi Expo 2025, held from August 28–30, 2025, is an exhibition showcasing commodities, investment products, procurement, and public services from district governments across Indonesia. It has been held annually since 2005 by the Association of Indonesian District Governments (Apkasi).

President Prabowo, as quoted by Antara, arrived at the Nusantara Hall, ICE, at 10:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.

At the event, President Prabowo was welcomed by Bursah Zarnubi, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (APKASI) for the 2025–2030 period, who is also the Regent of Lahat.

Also present at the event were several members of the Red and White Cabinet, including Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono; Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra; Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati; Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni; Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi; Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf; and Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa.

Also present were the Speaker of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin; National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto; Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Prof. Dadan Hindayana; Banten Governor Andra Soni; and Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid served as host.

Upon arrival at the event, President Prabowo greeted state officials, several regional heads, representatives from friendly countries' embassies, and several Apkasi administrators. President Prabowo also took the opportunity to take a selfie with one of the participants who braved the opportunity to approach him.

Afterward, President Prabowo, before the inauguration and opening ceremony of the exhibition, provided direction to district governments throughout Indonesia and officials at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The event then continued with the opening ceremony of the Apkasi Otonomi Expo 2025, marked by the striking of a gong by President Prabowo. The ceremony was greeted with thunderous applause from all the invited guests, who numbered approximately 1,500.

Then, President Prabowo, accompanied by several of his ministers and Apkasi administrators, proceeded to tour the exhibition stalls in Halls 5 and 6, ICE, BSD. A total of 299 regions and other partners showcased their respective potential to domestic and international investors, as well as international partners.

After reviewing and inspecting various investment and procurement products exhibited by several regions, President Prabowo left the event and returned to the Presidential Palace on Thursday afternoon.

In a separate event, Apkasi Executive Director Sarman Simanjorang explained that the Apkasi Autonomy Expo 2025, themed "Local Products Going Global," not only showcased a variety of commodities and investment products from all regencies in Indonesia, but also a variety of public services that visitors could directly utilize.

At the Apkasi Autonomy Expo 2025 exhibition site, the Ministry of Home Affairs, as in previous years, again opened a population and civil registration (Dukcapil) service booth for applications for identity cards (KTP), family cards (KK), and other civil registration documents.
