PSY Detained By Police For Ownership Of Unrecipted Drugs
JAKARTA - Singer PSY was detained by the police for possession of drugs without a track according to procedures, namely consultation and prescription drugs. This news was confirmed by the authorities and responded to by the artist.
On Wednesday, August 27, Seodaemun Police in Seoul reportedly detained PSY and professor A, a doctor at the hospital who gave him a prescription drug. The police also conducted a search at PSY's house because there were indications that the singer received prescriptions for the drugs Xanax and Badminox without consultation.
Since 2022, PSY has asked his manager to take the drug until now using his name.
Xanax and Stillnox are two psychotropic drugs used to treat sleep disorders and anxiety with a high level of dependence. Direct consultations are required since 2021 so patients who are prescribed the drug are not allowed to conduct remote consultations and are represented by others except for certain cases.
PSY's manager did not receive a direct prescription, but took the drug under the name PSY so he could potentially violate the Medical Services Act.
