Fachri Albar Demanded 6 Months Of Rehabilitation For Cases Of Alleged Drug Abuse
JAKARTA The narcotics abuse case that ensnared actor Fachri Albar has reached a new chapter. The Public Prosecutor (JPU) stated that the son of legendary musician Achmad Albar was legally and convincingly proven guilty of the crime he was accused of.
Based on data from the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the West Jakarta District Court, Fachri Albar's legal status was confirmed in the prosecutor's demands which stated his involvement as a drug abuser of class I and a psychotropic recipient without a doctor's prescription.
"Declaring that the Defendant Fachri Albar Alias AI Bin Achmad Albar is legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing the crime of "criminal abuse of Narcotics class I for himself and receiving psychotropic submissions other than from hospitals, medical centers or health centers as well as without a doctor's prescription, as a user," wrote the Public Prosecutor, quoted by VOI from the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the West Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 28.
As a consequence of his actions, the prosecutor did not demand a prison sentence, but instead recommended a criminal program in the form of a dependency recovery program.
Fachri Albar is required to undergo hospitalization for six months. This verdict focuses on the healing process for the defendant as a user.

The next trial agenda will be held on September 3, 2025. In the trial, the star of the Devils film Pengabdi is scheduled to read a plea or memorandum of defense.
For information, this is the third case of Fachri Albar being caught in a drug abuse case. First in 2007, at that time cocaine and methamphetamine were found in Fachri's room when the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) searched his father's house, Ahmad Albar. He was on the wanted list (DPO) before finally turning himself in November 2007.
Then in 2018, Fachri was arrested at his home with evidence of methamphetamine weighing 0.8 grams, 13 Dumalid tablets, and marijuana butts. At that time, Fachri was sentenced to 7 months of rehabilitation at the Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO) in Cibubur.
